Joining Michigan Pet Sitters & Dog Walkers
Michigan Pet Sitters & Dog Walkers is open to
all professional Dog Walkers and Pet Sitters in Michigan who meet our
requirements.
Your Membership Includes:

Business listing
for one year on Michigan Pet Sitters and Dog Walker's
website. Just one referral from our listings can pay for an entire years
membership. Listings are grouped by county and then broken down by zip code.

Online Yahoo Group for networking with colleagues online
through our online yahoo group.

Meetings face to face
networking meetings organized by Michigan Pet
Sitters and Dog Walkers. Currently held in the South East Michigan area. We
hold meetings generally 3-4 times per. Announcements of
meetings come through our yahoo group.

Group advertising through Michigan Pet Sitters and Dog Walkers events,
pamphlets, press releases, search engines, and other forms of media.

Members only area
access to obtain industry resources, events,
trade secrets and educational information.

Use of our "Member"
logo on your advertising information and

Requirements:

Insurance / Bonding
- You must carry
commercial liability insurance
that covers you and all those who work for you. If you have employees or
independent contractors working for you they must be bonded.

Networking Online
Yahoo Group
- We feel that networking with other pet sitters is important to making
quality referrals and supporting our colleagues. Michigan Pet Sitters
membership includes being a part of our online discussion yahoo group. The
yahoo group is set up so members can support and network with colleagues, it is
also a place where new pet sitters can gain insight. Notifications of
meetings and other updates will be posted on the group also. You are required to join the
group and post a
introduction of your business as a member of MPS. You will not be listed
on the MPS website until you have introduced yourself. Instructions on
how to join the group and post your introduction are given when you
join.

Face to Face
Meetings - We have meetings on a regular
basis. You are not required to attend the meetings but they are very
informative and helpful. Dates and locations of the meetings are posted
on our yahoo group.

Referrals
- One of the founding principals of Michigan Pet Sitters is that pet
sitters would have a place to turn to when potential clients contacted
them that were out of their area. If a client contacts you and you are
unable to provide service for them we ask that you refer them to
www.michiganpetsitters.com
or another sitter you know directly. You can't be a member and expect referrals
to only go one way.

Dues
- Membership rates are based on your service area size. Each one renews
every 12 months at the same rate. Rates are locked in once you join and
will not go up.

1 to 5 zip codes is $40 per year

Jack Russell
Size: 6 to 11 zip codes is $54 per year

Golden Retriever
Size: 12 to 23 zip codes $76 per year

Irish Wolfhound
Size: 24+ zip codes $90 per year

offer this is an extremely good value. You can cancel anytime. We also offer a 30 day money back
guarantee if you are dissatisfied for any reason.

complete payment you will be taken to a form to submit your information. You
will need to have your current insurance information and if you have sitters
working for you will need to have your bonding information ready. Payments are
through PayPal. If you are not able to use PayPal and would like to pay by check
please
email us.
Once your information is submitted it will take up
to 5 business days to get listed on the website, you will be given instuctions
on how to access the
online network yahoo group and members area as soon as you submit your information. The sooner you post your introduction the sooner you will be
listed on the website. We reserve the right to reject or cancel any membership at any time for
any reason. If we exercise this right we will prorate and refund your current membership.
If you are found in violation of the Code of Ethics then your membership may be
canceled and no refund given. If you do not receive a response within 5 business days or if
you ever have any questions or concerns please email
